Settlers of Catan as our own multiplayer testing project
We picked up the classic trading and settling game and now want to develope it into a 3D multiplayer party game.
To get into turn-based multiplayer games, we decided to pick up the classic board game Settlers of Catan.
We always wanted to play it together, but never got the chance to meet up in person and dive into a session. We took this as motivation to development a game where we don’t have to worry about inventing rules, designing gameplay loops, and making the game ejoyable. Since the game concept is already long complete, we only have to get into designing our own models and turning the board game into a 3D multiplayer party game.
Let’s see where this goes!
